What Are Anomalies?
Anomalies are events that seem to occur exclusively in the Backrooms, with seemingly no reason for their existence. While some Anomalies have a confirmed basis (such as No-Clipping), others, such as Multiple Frontrooms Theory, are mere speculation. Anomalies serve as the backbone of how the Backrooms differs mechanically from normal reality, and are part of it what create its identity.
Sometimes, entire locations in the Backrooms can be considered "Anomalies" due to having very different characteristics from the rest of the Backrooms, but this is a point of contention.
