What Are Levels?
Levels are how we separate various sections of the backrooms to gain a greater understanding of The Backrooms as a whole. Levels are distinguished by an "identity" they carry that is unique from any other level.Levels have their own standalone identity, unlike Sub-layers, which share characteristics with their parent level but have some of their tricks up their own sleeves. Some levels are more dangerous than others, and that is just a fact of life. The less documented reaches of The Backrooms tend to be more dangerous, however. How levels are located in relation in eachother is still unknown, as with the logistics of many entrances and exits.
Speaking of entrances and exits, they are the known (and possibly UNCONFIRMED) ways that you can enter and exit each level. While all levels have entrances, a select few do not have exits and are considered by many to be traps.
It is unknown if the Backrooms itself is truly split into levels, or if this just how we interpret it. The same applies with Secret Levels and Negative Levels. In fact, there is not much of a difference between what defines any of these 3 terms.

What are Deeper Levels?:
All Levels below the 9th Level are considered "deep",meaning that multiple levels are required to gain entry into them. Many of them are unconfirmed or have much less documented information.While it is unsafe to make a permanent base in this area, experienced travelers should eventually learn how to deal with almost any situation they find themselves encountering in this area. Despite there being many dangers and unknowns, they make up the majority of the Backrooms, so keeping data on them is crucial.
